Precision machine tool bearings become China's future development potential
Throughout the rapid development of China's bearing industry, bearing applications are expanding, of course, the broad sales market has also brought the bearing industry unpredictable development potential. According to the statistics and analysis of the central shaft network, the annual output of various bearings in China's bearing industry in 2002 was 2.8 billion sets, of which 62.364 million sets of P5 precision bearings and 729,000 sets of P4 ultra-precision bearings were produced. In the annual sales of bearings, there are 33 million sets for machine tool manufacturing. From the data analysis, we can see that China's precision machine tool bearings have entered a period of rapid development.
The market distribution of precision machine tool bearings in China in 2002 was analyzed. About 1.5 million sets of P5 and above bearings were used in various precision machine tools. About half of them were used in machine tool spindles and ball screw bearings. P4 and above super precision bearings and paired bearings (mainly spindle bearings and ball screw bearings) account for about 150,000 sets.
According to the "Tenth Five-Year Plan" of the machine tool industry, by 2005, the annual output of metal processing machines will reach 200,000 to 220,000. Among them, the number of CNC machines will increase to 35,000 (in 2003, the production and sales of CNC machines have exceeded 30,000), accounting for 15% of the total output, and the market share of domestic machine tools will reach 60-65%. Due to the rapid development of China's machine tool industry in recent years, by 2005, the annual output of metal processing machine tools will certainly exceed the "Tenth Five-Year Plan" target of the machine tool industry. In addition, with the development of modern machine tools towards high-speed, efficient and composite direction, the proportion of precision bearings matched by precision machine tools will be greatly increased. Considering the huge market of machine tool renovation and maintenance, it is predicted that more than 50 million sets of supporting bearings will be needed for metal processing machine tools in 2005, and about 3 million sets of precision bearings for P5 and above, of which about 1.5 million are used for machine tool spindles and ball screws. The large amount of these bearings is deep groove ball bearings, angular contact ball bearings, cylindrical roller bearings, two-way thrust angular contact ball bearings and tapered roller bearings.
Spindle bearings and ball screw bearings of machine tools as precision control parts, P4 and above super precision bearings and paired bearings will be greatly increased from 20% in 2002 to 40% - 50% in 2005, the total amount of about 700,000 sets.
At present, about half of the demand for about 150,000 sets of ultra-precision angular contact ball bearings in machine tool industry comes from famous foreign bearing companies such as FAG, NSK, SKF, SNFA and so on. In addition to psychological factors and brand effectiveness, the technical performance and reliability of bearings are the main reasons for machine tool customers to choose imported bearings. If the technical index and reliability level of domestic ultra-precision bearings can be comparable to that of imported bearings, the market potential in the next two years will be enormous.
To this end, the main domestic machine tool bearing supporting enterprises have begun to speed up the pace of technological transformation, increased investment in processing conditions, testing methods, matching technology and reliability research, the main types of small batch trial products and some types of batch production products have reached the international advanced level, instead of imports only. A matter of time and scale.
